TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all bookings made for Anacho retreats (“Retreats”), operated by Anacho Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a Retreat, you (“you”, “guest”, “participant”) agree to these Terms.
 

1. Booking & Payment

1.1 A booking is confirmed once we receive the required non-refundable deposit or full payment and you receive written confirmation from us.
1.2 Deposits are non-refundable.
1.3 Remaining balances must be paid in full no later than 90 days before the retreat start date.
1.4 Failure to pay by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking without refund.
1.5 We reserve the right to update pricing for future Retreats.

1.6 Anacho Escapes is not currently VAT registered, therefore VAT is not applicable. 

1.7 All retreat prices are quoted in GBP (£)
 

2. Pricing & Inclusions

2.1 Inclusions are stated on our website and/or booking materials.
2.2 Retreat prices typically include accommodation, meals, wellbeing sessions and scheduled activities.
2.3 Transportation to and from the Retreat venue is not included.
2.4 Optional extras (e.g private sessions) may incur additional charges.
 

3. Guest Responsibility, Fitness & Risk Assessment

3.1 Retreat activities may include physical movement, cold exposure, walking, breathwork and other wellbeing practices. Participation is voluntary.
3.2 You agree to complete any pre-retreat health questionnaire or risk assessment requested by us.
3.3 You must disclose relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, pregnancy or other factors affecting suitability.
3.4 You are responsible for assessing your own fitness and seeking medical advice if unsure.
3.5 We reserve the right to decline a booking if we believe participation may present a health or safety risk.
3.6 Guests participate at their own risk.
 

4. Dietary Requirements & Allergies

4.1 We will accommodate dietary requirements where reasonably possible.
4.2 You must notify us of dietary needs at least 21 days before the Retreat.
4.3 We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment due to third-party kitchens and suppliers.
4.4 Guests with severe allergies must carry their own medication (e.g., EpiPen) and inform staff on arrival.
 

5. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation by Guest

5.1 All cancellations must be made in writing.

5.2 A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable.

5.3 If you need to cancel your booking, refunds (excluding the deposit) will be issued as follows:

  • More than 90 days before the retreat start date: deposit retained, remaining balance refunded

  • Between 60 and 90 days before the retreat start date: 50% of the total retreat cost is retained

  • Less than 60 days before the retreat start date: no refund

5.4 You may request to transfer your place to another guest, subject to our approval.

5.7 No refunds will be given for unused portions of the retreat, including missed sessions, late arrival or early departure.

5.8 We strongly recommend guests take out appropriate travel and cancellation insurance, as refunds cannot be offered due to personal circumstances, including illness, injury or travel disruption.
 

Cancellation or Changes by Anacho

5.5 In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or significantly change a retreat, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or transfer to an alternative date.

5.6 Anacho cannot be held responsible for travel, accommodation or other third-party costs incurred as a result of cancellation or rescheduling.
 

6. Travel & Insurance

6.1 Guests are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the Retreat venue.
6.2 We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers illness, cancellation, medical issues and travel disruption.
6.3 We are not liable for travel issues outside our control.
 

7. Accommodation, Room Sharing & Single Supplements

7.1 Pricing is based on shared accommodation unless otherwise stated.
7.2 Solo guests may be paired with another same-gender guest in a shared twin room.
7.3 Requests to share with a friend, family member or partner can be made at booking.
7.4 Single occupancy rooms are available for an additional single supplement, subject to availability.
7.5 We cannot guarantee room configuration preferences.
7.6 Guests must respect shared spaces and behave considerately.
7.7 Damage caused to accommodation by a guest may result in additional charges.
 

8. Alcohol & Substance Policy

8.1 Alcohol may be served in moderation during selected meals or social experiences.
8.2 Guests consuming alcohol must do so responsibly and with respect for others.
8.3 Participation in activities may be restricted if alcohol is consumed beforehand for safety reasons.
8.4 Excessive personal alcohol consumption is discouraged and brining alcohol onsite is not allowed.
8.5 Illegal substances and recreational drugs are strictly prohibited.
8.6 We may remove any guest from the Retreat, without refund, whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive or negatively impacts the group.
8.7 Guests accept responsibility for incidents arising from alcohol use.
 

9. Facilitators, Suppliers & Venues

9.1 We work with trusted suppliers including chefs, facilitators, wellness practitioners and venue partners.
9.2 Catering suppliers are responsible for food safety, hygiene and allergen compliance under UK regulations.
9.3 We pass relevant dietary information to suppliers but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
9.4 Wellness practitioners operate within their own professional qualifications and guests participate voluntarily.
9.5 If a facilitator or supplier becomes unavailable due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, we may replace them or adjust the schedule without refund.
9.6 Venue policies (e.g. noise, alcohol, facility access) must be respected.
9.7 We are not liable for acts or omissions of independent suppliers except where required by law.
 

10. Safety, Conduct & Behaviour

10.1 You agree to follow staff instructions and safety guidance.
10.2 We may remove guests whose behaviour is unsafe, abusive or disruptive, without refund.
10.3 You are responsible for personal property throughout the Retreat.
 

11. Liability & Assumption of Risk

11.1 Participation in activities is voluntary and at your own risk.
11.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept liability for personal injury, illness, loss or damage unless caused by our negligence.
11.3 We are not liable for events outside our reasonable control.
11.4 Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
 

12. Photography & Media

12.1 We may take photographs or video during the Retreat for marketing purposes.
12.2 You may opt out by informing us before the Retreat begins.
12.3 Otherwise, you grant us consent for reasonable marketing use across Anacho channels.
 

13. Privacy & Data Protection

13.1 We collect personal data only as necessary to manage enquiries, bookings and health information.
13.2 Sensitive data (e.g. medical information) is confidential and shared only with facilitators who require it for safety.
13.3 Our full Privacy Policy is available on our website.
 

14. Changes to Itinerary

14.1 We may adjust schedules, menus, facilitators or activities for operational or safety reasons without refund.
14.2 Changes will be of equal or similar standard where possible.
 

15. Governing Law

15.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
15.2 Any disputes shall be handled exclusively by the courts of England & Wales.
 

Acceptance of Terms

By booking an Anacho Retreat, you confirm that you:
✔ have read and understood these Terms & Conditions,
✔ are medically and physically fit to participate, and
✔ accept responsibility for your own wellbeing during the Retreat.
